Tickets are $10 each, available August 1-31. No limit on number of tickets per person! Each ticket is a separate entry into the drawing pile! Winner selected early September. WHERE IS THE QUILT FROM?
The quilt is handmade by Peach Parke, a former camper and councillor. She graciously donated her time and skills to help raise funds to support SEL. The quilt is in camp colors, browns and whites, and is 51” x 66 ½”. It is perfect for a twin bed, folded at the foot of a queen bed, or as a sofa throw blanket. We are so very grateful to Peach. WHAT ARE WE RAISING MONEY FOR? The money we raise from the quilt raffle will all go toward the stipends that we pay our councillors. Singing Eagle Lodge has thrived for 50 years because of the commitment, energy and love of our councillors - almost all of whom are former campers. As costs have gone up, we have not been able to increase our stipends. Many of our talented younger councillors are not only volunteering, but leaving paid work to come to camp. We look forward to increasing stipends to help alleviate some of their financial sacrifice and to demonstrate our appreciation. |
